Dr. Bassam Michiel grew up in the Fresno area where he attended C.S.U. Fresno for his undergraduate studies in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He then earned his D.D.S. at U.C. San Francisco’s School of Dentistry where he was also awarded the Kellogg Scholarship. Being community minded, he chose to return to the Central Valley and do his dental residency working with the under served at Fresno’s Community Medical Centers. He is committed to excellence in dentistry through a conservative approach while stressing preventive care. Dr. Michiel continues to be involved in dental mission trips to Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua to provide much needed dental care to the people of Central America. He enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, playing drums, watching sports, and working on cars.
